Kayi bandishen aur kuch unkahi baathen! 

Bin aapke, kyA baarish? aur kyA chAndini raathen? 

Kabhi toh yaad kiya keejiye...

Filled with gratitude for all the lovely moments,
My being bows in surrender beyond my own silly torments.

Abiding thus, this time,  I enjoyed falling dead.

Silence is the only solace,  when all the words just fail.
Creating mere squabble turning even the strong one into frail. 

Waiting is a way of being,  know this silly mind.
The breeze may indeed return someday to simply unwind!  

Waiting for the known from an unknown path,
Mysterious and mischeveous indeed are his wrath.

Enchantingly  charming, his smiling eyes do attract! 
Slipping away in a jiffy, yet never falling apart

Wild yet subtle but firm are his loving ways,
Most tender heart sure lies within that forever never snares!

What we mean in real, lies beyond all the words and actions! 

What we want in real, lies beyond all the  desires

What is free, lies beyond all the bondages

What is pure, lies beyond all the pretentions

What we do in real, lies beyond all our actions

What we are, lies beyond all the reactions.

Is this Silence or nothing at all, I know not yet! 

Whatever “ this is” is my dwelling! O my Master, lead me I beg with zest !

Aah! Is this seeking beyond the seeker?? 

How do I know this yet? 

Living on the edge, holding onto pledge

This way or that way
Swaying in an unknown play

Twisting and turning
Seeking only to seek

Wandering in illusion
 Wondering with delusion

What is it that is causing this ploy?
Who am I talking to when devoid of joy?

Unworthy of an offering,  Am I such a despair? 

Hate me or love me, beg you have a space within to spare! 

Beyond the sea of attachment, I do wish to dare.

Will wait beyond time for sure, for I certainly care.

Burning in desire, will this ever be the same?

Misery or Joy, I just have myself here to blame.

Will another lifetime go past like this? I find my tears go dry,

How does it matter, for everything here is wry!

Kaun jeetha, kaun haara is khEl mein
Kya bathaayen raahi?

Jisme jeethna namunkin hai aur haarna wafaa hai
Ise kaise suljhaayen raahi?

Jo dooba isme usko choot kahaan hai bhaai?
Jisme marne par bhi jeeth hai,  usme hum kaise jeeyen humraahi?

Pyaar khuda hai toh, woh mushkil kyoon hai raahi?
Dard mein mar mite toh kyaa? Humne kya paya,  kya khoya hai bhaai?

Humne toh pyaar hi jathaaya
Aur kuch bhi toh naahi?
Sanam bewafa nikle, ab is darde dil ko hum kyaa samjhaayen raahi?

गुज़र न जाए यह पल

आपकी खफा में भी अनोखा अंदाज़ है
इन आसुओं में भी एक अजीब सा मज़ा है

खफा होकर इन लम्हों को यूँ गवारा न कीजिये
मोहबत का आलम है कुछ तो कदर किया कीजिये

बीत जाएंगे पल, फिर आये न आये!
ऐक बार ही सही, इस दिल पर भी ऐतबार कर लीजिये

Block, A building block!!

Blocks can hold the hands of the clocks,
Can it make the time stop though?

O wise mind,  Be wise and kind.
Turn the same hard blocks into building blocks, thus fiercely vow..

To unwind and shine,
To blow the immense pain
Only to joyfully and simply grow!

Unke saath bithaaye hue woh chand lamhe,
Un lamhon se judi apni apni khoobsoorat kahAniyAn!

Laathi hain muskuraahat chehre par aaj bhi woh nishaaniyaan,
Zindagi tho kya,  moath mein bhi jeelenge lekar un yaadon ki parchaayiyaan!!

Unki aankhon ki woh geharaayiyaan,
Jinme doobkar mit gayi tanhaayiyaan!

Na dil se uthra kabhi woh chehra,
Usne kiya har waqt aakhon par pehara!

Yeh Mohabat tho nakhatam honewaali saraab hai
Bin piye nasha chad jaaye aisi ajab sharaab hai

Ey chaand unse miloge tho yeh zaroor kehana,
Ab mushkil hai unse yoon door rehana!

The Threshold

Beyond the threshold of pain,
Why urge me, time and again?

Now I know,  yet why this dally?
Deliver me to that, which lasts gaily!

Mirage, aren't you?  Tricking the poor me endlessly !
I seek to  travel beyond earnestly and fiercely

O my poor little mind,  learn this to implore.
Deepen your misery or joy until there is simply no more!

Hold yourself still in that space forever,
For here is from where you may then seek never!

Chaahe sitam ho ya pyaar,
Is dil ne sirf unhipe kiya aethbaar!

Chaahe dhoop ho ya bahaar,
Is dhadkan ne unhi ko bulaaya baar baar!

Desire

Aah Desire!!

You lure me unto deceit

 I choose you to defeat.

I chase you to savour,

Life's transient flavour.

Do you offer pleasure?

Nay, it is all smeared to suffer!

I know now your games of fervour

All I seek is to go beyond you forever!

Alas!! I now wonder!!

To transcend, is it just yet another desire?!!!

Un baathon ki sailaab mein doobkar aakhir main kho jaaoon.

Jab dil diye baithe hain!!

Shikvon ko kya ginen,
Jab dil hi de baite hain?

Darde dil kya sunaayen,
Jab dil hi de baite hain?

Kisse kya doharaayen,
Jab dil hi diye baite hain?

Khafa aakhir kisse ho,
Jab dil hi de baite hain?

Jab taareef taqleef banjaaye,
Woh rishta bhi kaise ho?

Jab taqleef hi tehazeeb banjaaye,
Woh mohabat bhi kaise ho?

Kya mushkil, kya aasan hai yaara?
Pyaar mein tho sirf pyaar hota hai!

Unke khayaalon mein bhi yaara,
