"The Nothing" - that lasts forever!

You flew so high on what did not exist
And so fell with a thud that hurt you beyond what you thought you could resist
How silly you were to go hither and tither?
And then to come back to where you again began to gather
You went on and on like this forever
Until the Master arrived and saw you through this seemingly endless horror
Yes, now you are in peace and you know what lasts, however!

The pain and suffering had to be all yours, because you were so full of yourself
All you needed to do is to just look around to see how blessed you are
For there are so many without even half as much as what you have and are!
You are such a speck in this Universe so vast
That is changing every moment and is moving ahead, leaving the past
And all along you pondered and worried about your own silly forecast!

You went over and over again to what never was
You also allowed your weakness to stamp you and surpass?
You watched yourself with empathy and pity
Dipped yourself in further misery that made you even dirty
There is always an excuse for weakness and the loss
The one who wins indeed is the one who walks through all this stead fast
Discarding weakness and  pity to where they belong!!

Ironically, only that misery led you to the light
That shines forever and is ever so bright
So thank every cause that led to misery and the past
Waste no time in looking back and analyzing  the role you cast

You now feel so joyful and pampered
This happened only because you surrendered
To the will of the creator whose grace has never ended

And all this not until the Master arrived
To hold you by your hands to show you this truth and to see you through the seemingly endless horror
Yes, now you are in peace and you know what lasts, however!

Seeker's Agony!

I see you in everything in and around me
You shine like a diamond even inside the tiny bee
The more I look around, the closer I am drawn towards thee
I wish neither to die nor to be born again
All I seek is to be one with the infinite
that one which does not change any moment
that which neither shall perish nor decay
I seek such a simple thing and yet why is there such a delay??
Bless me soon either to live here with equanimity
while I perform my duty
or simply to dissolve into eternity
For I find no charm in this world's vanity...
